If you haven't heard the news yet, CES one of the worlds largest consumer electronics shows officially opened the doors of their 2012 expo today in LasVegas. It's always a thrill to see the new technology that will be released during the up and coming months, and yesterday was the day for all the big announcements... and some not so big ones.

The Nuts and Bolts of High-Definition
So I’m sure everyone has heard of HD Television by now, and most people have either purchased one or are planning to in the future. But what I am growing more aware of is that although people have heard of High-Definition –and they want it– few people understand the nuts and bolts of what it is and why they should have it. I am going to try and make sense of all this and maybe clear the mud up a bit.

Times They Are A Changing
For the past two years I have been trying to warn people working in the security alarm field of what I saw as the future of the industry. I know my passion is for home electronics and A/V stuff, but I have been in the security business basically my whole life and there is quite a bit of overlap in the two.
